What are the categories of Medical Protective Gown?
1. Ordinary PP non-woven Medical Protective Gown
This is a Medical Protective Gown made of PP spunbond non-woven fabric, generally weighing 35~60gsm. It has the advantages of breathability, dustproof, and tensile resistance, but the difference between the front and back is not obvious, and it is not waterproof. Therefore, this type of medical protective clothing is an ordinary, low-end type of protective clothing, mostly worn by patients.
2. Film-coated non-woven Medical Protective Gown
It is mainly made of film-coated non-woven fabric, generally weighing 35~45gsm. It has the advantages of waterproof, good bacteria isolation effect, obvious distinction between the front and back, and good feel, but the breathability is not so good. Because the outer layer has a layer of plastic film to prevent liquid leakage, it can be used in places with pollution and viruses, so it is often used in infectious wards in hospitals.
It is made of three-layer composite non-woven fabric, with a waterproof and antibacterial layer in the middle, and a sesame-point SMS non-woven fabric on the outside. It is strong and tensile, has isolation, waterproof and breathable functions, and weighs generally 35-60gsm. It is often used in surgical operations and hospital visitors.
4. Breathable membrane non-woven Medical Protective Gown
It uses PP polypropylene and is covered with PE breathable membrane. Generally, 30g PP+30g PE breathable membrane is used. Therefore, it has strong air permeability and better anti-penetration performance. While resisting a variety of organic solvents, acid and alkali corrosion, it has high impact resistance. It has strong mechanical properties and a soft and comfortable texture. It is non-combustible, non-toxic and non-irritating, and harmless to the skin. It is antibacterial, waterproof, slightly breathable, and soft in texture. It is the highest-level medical protective Medical Protective Gown. The characteristic is that the sweat of the human body can be emitted outward, while the harmful gases and moisture outside cannot invade. In addition, breathable membrane nonwovens are also used for surgical gowns, surgical drapes and isolation gowns.
